Tender Labor continues Leidy's exploration into how found objects reflect the traditions and practices that shaped her early understandings of home and identity, particularly in relation to gender stereotypes in the rural Midwest. The installation was part of Leidy's undergraduate capstone, Counterpoint, at the University of Minnesota's Katherine E. Nash Gallery in 2025.
